As one of Channel Nine’s most popular presenters, Sylvia Jeffreys is used to being in front of the camera.
But on Monday, she suffered an embarrassing photo fail while snapping a selfie outside a café in Burleigh Heads, on the Gold Coast.
While the 33-year-old smiled and posed with her take-away coffee, a woman in the background could be seen awkwardly looking in her direction.

The woman appeared to be eating breakfast at the café when she realised she was being photographed without her permission.
While her reaction is not known, she certainly didn’t look very happy.
Sylvia acknowledged the gaffe after sharing the photo to Instagram, writing in the caption: ‘TFW [That feeling when] you realise your quick, discreet selfie was actually not so discreet.’

Sylvia is currently visiting the Gold Coast with her husband, Peter Stefanovic.
The couple are enjoying some much-needed downtime as Peter continues to search for a job after parting ways with Channel Nine last year.
Sylvia also seems to be taking a break from her duties as a reporter for A Current Affair at the moment.
