An active user of Twitter, Dan took to the platform to congratulate his BBC Breakfast colleague, Steph McGovern on her pregnancy. News broke over the weekend Steph was pregnant and following that, the BBC Breakfast presenter tweeted out to confirm the news to her followers. Steph said: “I see my news is out!
“Yep, I am no longer with pot belly, I am now with child.”
Following that tweet, Dan was quick to praise his colleague
Instantly he tweeted out a series of clapping hands emojis and baby faces.
Following that, he then praised the announcement and commented on how her child was already a “trendsetter”.
He added: “Is this what ‘Congratulations Steph’ is all about?
“Remarkable stuff. Your baby is already a trendsetter.”
In the same day, Dan also released a series of tweets declaring his nerves over England’s World cup winning performance.
Termed as one of the great World Cup games, Dan admitted that his “stomach hurt” as he watched not just the World Cup final but also Wimbledon’s.
Furthermore, Dan had also tweeted out a Gif showing a woman struggling to contain her emotions as he watched the cricket.
Following an incredibly tense Super Over finish, England won the game based on the number of boundaries that both teams had hit.
With the game decided, Dan then tweeted out announcing his joy at the end of the match.
Dan added: “We’ve done it!
“What a final. Well played New Zealand but brilliant from England.
“Seven weeks of cricket comes down to the basics, a throw to the keeper, perfectly executed.”
Such was the emotive nature of the tweet that Dan received 4,900 likes.
